About Us

Hautala Law brings legal services to veterans and their dependents. As a veteran-owned firm, you can trust us to give you and your family legal services that reflect the values of duty, integrity, ethics, honor, courage, and loyalty. We are dedicated to your happiness. You have served your country, now let us serve you!

Attorney Heidi Hautala has always been a true patriot and has a deep love for the U.S. Constitution and all that it stands for. Because of her love for what this country stands for, she had always wanted to join the military. She served four years active duty in the United States Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi with her husband Glen. While serving in the Nurse Corps., Attorney Hautala had her daughter and she was 7 months pregnant with her son at the end of her service commitment. Our family continues to honor this great nation; the military members and veterans that have defended our Country and the Constitution.

Attorney Hautala has been working with veterans since she left the military; as a nurse and in her personal life. She has also been pursuing her own battles with the Department of Veteran Affairs. As an advocate for herself and other veterans, she learned that the system isn't always easy to navigate to get the benefits that veterans are entitled to. While she loved serving veterans as a nurse, she felt like she wanted to do more to help. She decided to attend law school and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023 and became a licensed attorney. Attorney Hautala wants to bring the compassion and empathy of nursing; the comradery and understanding of a fellow veteran; and the legal knowledge to help fight the confusing and backlogged VA system.

She is the nurse, veteran, and attorney you need on your side.
