Attorney Hautala earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, in January 2023 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She served as Secretary for the Veterans Law Administration. During Law School, Attorney Hautala did her Pro Bono work in Family Law for Justice Bridge and worked as a Personal Injury Law Clerk at Keches Law Group for the (now) Honorable Claudine Cloutier. She also successfully represented a Client before the Boston Immigration Court as a Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney.

Prior to opening her own practice, Attorney Hautala worked as an Associate Attorney at Cohen Cleary, P.C. She has worked as a Nurse for over 20 years. As a Registered Nurse, her last full-time employment was at the Department of Veteran Affairs as a Community Care Coordinator and at Southeastern Technical Institute as a Practical Nurse Instructor. She has experience with civilian, military, federal, long-term care, and acute care. Attorney Hautala also has worked with DPH inspections, JCAHO accreditation, medical coding, MDS, quality management, and leadership roles. She is currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse. Attorney Hautala maintains her nursing skills and passion for nursing by working part-time at Beth Israel Primary Care as a Team Nurse and per diem at the Life Care Center of Raynham.

Attorney Hautala started her nursing career working as a Home Health Aide and Certified Nursing Assistant, obtaining Certification in 1999 while still in High School. Attorney Hautala then worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating from Bristol-Plymouth LPN Program in 2001. In 2004, Attorney Hautala became a Registered Nurse, earning her Associates Degree in Nursing from Massasoit Community College. Attorney Hautala received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Attorney Hautala continued to pursue her nursing education and earned her Master of Science with a Clinical Nurse Leader Concentration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2019 where she was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Attorney Hautala’s vast knowledge and education in the medical field brings a unique perspective to her practice, allowing her to view her cases through both a legal and medical lens.

Attorney Hautala honorably served as a Commissioned Officer, Captain in the U.S. Air Force, Nurse Corps, active duty from 2009 to 2013. She was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS and worked at Keesler Medical Center. While serving in the military as a Registered Nurse, Attorney Hautala was part of the Immediate Disaster Relief Team, completed Squadron Officer School, and participated in Dialysis Training, Pediatric Training, and completed the Oncology Nurse’s Society Chemotherapy Course.

In her free time, Attorney Hautala enjoys spending time with her husband and children, singing, playing piano, gardening, and hiking.
